El Castillo est une petite ville (~800 habitants) du sud du Nicaragua le long du rio San Juan. Le manière la plus pratique d'y accéder est de prendre la lancha, une longue et étroite barque à moteur à San Carlos sur les rives du lac Nicaragua.
