Szabadsag Híd (Freedom bridge) This ellegant bridge was originally named after Emperor Franz Joseph and was opened for Hungary's millennium celebrations in 1896. Piers are crowned by golden spheres holding a Turul, the hungarian mythical bird. On the other side of the Danube, the Hotel Gellért is a famous art nouveau spa-hotel built in 1918, bathing in its swimming pool is like bathing in a cathedral!
