Down in the canyon of Urique - Chihuahua (Mexico) To go to Urique, first take the Chihuahua al Pacifico train that goes from Los Mochis to Chihuahua across the Barranca del Cobre (Copper Canyon). This train is one of the last of the country still open to travelers and it mustn't be missed for it's 37 bridges and 87 tunnels and it's incredible landscapes. Leave the train at Bahuichivo and go down 1700 m into the canyon to the little town of Urique, an old mining town established by the Spanish more than 300 years ago.
