View from the top of Cerro de Perquín (1321m).
During the civil war, Perquín was the capital of the part of the country controlled by the guerilla.
There you can visit the museum of the Salvadorian Revolution and climb to the top of Cerro de Perquín where trenches and bomb craters can be seen, witness of the fierce fights that have taken place here.
You can also enjoy the nice view on the surrounding mountains.
