Site maya de Lamanai (le "crocodile submergé"), vue depuis le grand temple de 33 m de haut. Le site n'est accessible facilement qu'en bateau mais c'est l'occasion d'effectuer un agréable tour sur la rivière New River depuis la ville de Orange Walk et d'observer la faune (oiseaux, crocodiles, singes,...). C'est un des plus grand centre cérémoniel du Belize et a été occupé d'environ -1500 jusqu'au 19° siècle.
