View of the river Seine and of Notre-Dame from the Archevêché bridge Built between 1826 and 1828 the Pont de l'Archevêché (Bridge of the Archbishopric) bridge offers one of the nicest view on the cathedral Notre-Dame. It owes its name to the Archbishop's palace situated near Notre-Dame (now demolished). Here the banks of the river are a pleasant walk and you can relax and have a drink in one of the restaurants located in the boats.
