Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky - View on the Avatcha Bay Петропавловск-Камчатский (Камчатка) is the capital of the Kamtchatka peninsula. The city is located in a large bay named АВАЧА (Avatcha). By climbing a little hill you can have a good view (on sunny days!) on the bay and on a part of the city on the right. Straight ahead on the other side of the bay is a large submarine base.
