Montmartre, Rue du Calvaire A few steps from the Place du Tertre and its painters there is this small pedestrian street with steep flights of stairs. If the view on the city is limited (the Eiffel tower can be seen above the trees), you will nonetheless enjoy the tranquillity of the place away from the crowd.
